A great way to have fun with your little one! We focus on the children with the encouragement of parents, guiding their child to learn and grow. We include breathing games, yoga postures, singing, stories, yoga games and music. Helping to develop your child's self-expression and creativity.

The general learning aims through yoga are to help children to recognise and practice the feeling of calmness and peacefulness and increase their body awareness, while supporting their natural physical development. Emotionally, yoga helps children to be balanced, accepting and resilient and at the same time it encourages playfulness through physicality.

Age groups:

This age group will learn basic Yoga poses with an emphasis on playfulness and joy of movement. They will improve their balance and coordination and they will learn about the benefits of being able to relax and stay still.

In this age group we can add to the repertoire of poses with some basic breathing exercises, as their lungs are fully developed by this age. This class begins to resemble an adult class. We continue with the development of building muscle memory, coordination and balance.

This class starts to look more like an adult class, we can now do more poses with a focus on correct alignment, learning to coordinate breath with movement and attempting a variety of more challenging postures. There will also be opportunity to think about how they can use their yoga practice in their daily lives.
