Feeling tight after an intense workout? This two hour workshop is designed for all you gym junkies. Traditional strength and cardio training typically lead to stiffness in the hamstrings, quads, chest and shoulders. This workshop will move through a sequence of yoga postures specifically tailored to open, lengthen and release tension in these muscles; encouraging balanced strength in the body and improved posture.
The benefits of yoga to complement high intensity workouts will be discussed and put into practice including improved flexibility and agility, protecting the joints and making the body less prone to injury. The introduction and practice of breath control techniques meanwhile will calm and focus the mind, relieve stress and increase endurance and overall performance enhancement. You will leave the workshop feeling relaxed and more balanced.
