“Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard.” – Lao Tzu
Taking our cue from the properties of water, this workshop takes delight in expressive movement, transformational flow and the power of letting yourself surrender into rest. A combination of vinyasa flow and yin yoga brings us often and deep into the web of tight muscles and dense connective tissues surrounding the hips, pelvis and groin. As we release into those sticky hip joints, we can begin to discover a new sense of ease, space and mobility, allowing us to cultivate a soft, supple strength without resorting to tension, strain or rigidity. Suddenly your practice will feel lithe, buoyant, effortless, and joyful.
