Sound Bath

Sound Bath: Reset, Refresh & Regulate your nervous system

with Sophie

Sound Healing is a wonderful balance of spiritual and scientific, working with subtle energies within us. The gentle vibrations produced by sound instruments help to calm the nervous system, alleviate anxiety & promote a sense of inner calm.

Sound healing activates our parasympathetic nervous system, our rest and digest state, the opposite to the other major division, our fight or flight (sympathetic) response. When this activation happens, it shows up in our body by slowing our heart & breathing rate, decreasing our blood pressure, increasing our digestion & saliva and overall, the bodies physiology improves.

  • Integrating yoga, breathwork, somatics, and sound, Sophie Teasdale is founder of WellSATness. Her work is rooted in accessibility, emotional wellbeing, and community connection. Each practice is offered with intention and care, designed to support and regulate the nervous system.

When coming to a class expect to find an inclusive, safe space that allows you to feel embodied, to awaken the senses and to re discover your innate wisdom.

Pricing

These sessions are each 45mins in length and priced at £25.

In preparation for your sound bath, it is always good to feel comfortable and warm in your clothing, as you will be lying down for the majority of the session.

Please note: It is advised to avoid alcohol and caffeine ahead of the sound healing, and if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, fitted with a pace maker, have sound epilepsy, seizures, metal plates or bolts in the body, it is best to consult with your doctor before attending a session.

  • We have a strict latecomers policy. Latecomers will not be admitted any later than 5 minutes after the commencement of the session. Past this point, it will be disruptive for you to enter the room, and since you will not have warmed up properly, heading into class this late may also be damaging for your body. We recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes early so the class and your day can run on time.

  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the course starting will not be refunded.

Cancellations outside of 72 hours of the course start will be refunded upon request, otherwise, the passes can be transferred to another course (or a later cohort of the cancelled course).

There is no refund offered for missed sessions within the course.

If we are required to cancel a class due to teacher illness, we will offer a make-up session the week following the last session of the course.

The teacher may choose to cancel a course if a low number of people sign up. Please book in as early as you can to stop this from happening! Your pass will automatically be returned to your Mindbody account in this incidence. You can request a refund if you want one, otherwise, the passes can be transferred to another course (or a later cohort of the cancelled course).
