Finding Your Feet: Coming Back to Life from the Ground Up

Details

Workshop with Gillian Evans

This workshop invites you to return to the source of balance, vitality, and embodied presence: your feet. So much of our modern tension, fatigue and postural strain arises from losing our natural relationship with the ground. In this session, we begin again—relearning how to meet the earth, how to feel its support, and how to let that steadying force organise the body from the ground upward.

Through gentle, alignment-based hatha yoga, foot re-patterning, and qi-based grounding practices, we will explore the profound intelligence of gravity: how to soften into it rather than resist it, how to balance with greater ease, and how to allow weight to transfer cleanly through the joints. This playful exploration helps restore the subtle agility that underpins longevity—small, precise movements that wake up the arches, refine balance, and reconnect us with natural stability.

As the feet awaken and the ankles, knees, hips and pelvis realign, you’ll feel the whole body begin to cohere with less effort and more clarity. This is subtle work, surprising work, and deeply enlivening. You will leave with practical tools to bring your body home to itself—one grounded, agile step at a time.
