Sound Healing is a wonderful balance of spiritual and scientific, working with subtle energies within us. The gentle vibrations produced by sound instruments help to calm the nervous system, alleviate anxiety & promote a sense of inner calm.

Integrating yoga, breathwork, somatics, and sound, Sophie Teasdale is founder of WellSATness. Her work is rooted in accessibility, emotional wellbeing, and community connection. Each practice is offered with intention and care, designed to support and regulate the nervous system.

Sound healing activates our parasympathetic nervous system, our rest and digest state, the opposite to the other major division, our fight or flight (sympathetic) response. When this activation happens, it shows up in our body by slowing our heart & breathing rate, decreasing our blood pressure, increasing our digestion & saliva and overall, the bodies physiology improves.
